How much sugar is in Bacardi rum?
Very low sugar content. But be carefull because any alchohol consumption can lower blood glucose levels because the liver then holds on to the sugars to break down the alcohol. Rum is made from molasses and sugar cane. Confusing I know but the process leaves little or no actual sugar. Alchohol is what it is… so if diabetic limit to 2 drinks and make sure you eat. I drink Baccardi Light and diet Coke or Fresca. The lower the proof the lower the calories also. 80 proof = 100cal.
