How much storage space do you allow OnlineSafetyPAL members to have in their account?
We recommend that you delete or download your reports from your account after viewing them, in order to stay within the disk quota of 5 MB per computer. You can check your storage space and delete/download reports to make room. In order to optimize the 5 MB of storage space allowed we recommend that you choose low frequency of recording data (say every 5 minutes as opposed to every 30 seconds) and to save your screenshots in low resolution, (as opposed to saving in high resolution). You should also either download or delete older data periodically to keep enough room for the new data to be uploaded from your family PC. Based on the aforementioned factors and on how heavily your PC is used you can greatly reduce the storage constraint for your OnlineSafetyPAL account. A typical 8-hour day of recording will consume approximately 8 to 10 MB of storage space in your OnlineSafetyPAL account.
