How much spending money should I bring to an anime convention?
I don’t know how much you plan on spending, what you intend to buy, or what your salary is. For the average person who isn’t interested in limited editions or complete collections, $100 is more than enough. If you’re One of Those Fans, like I am, who believe limited editions bring you just a little closer to God and who spend about a year’s salary on completely pointless merchandise and omgineedthatplushieNOW!, then look into spending far more. If you work, just start saving up now and whatever you save up from now until October is what you’re allowed to spend. Having a budget is the best way not to overspend.
