A – Rangehood or exhaust fans should be installed in accordance with the manufactures instructions. However, in no case shall the clearance be less that 600mm between the highest part of the cooktop (including the trivets on gas cooktops) and the rangehood, or 750mm for an overhead exhaust fan.
