How much space does the Concord Blue plant require?
This heavily depends on the input material and overall circumstances. For example if the input material requires a lot of pre sorting and separation one would require more space, or if the input material is very wet one would need more space to dry the waste material. Due to the tower-like structure of our reformers, a 20MW Concord Blue plant running on approx. 150,000 tons of fresh/wet MSW per year typically only requires around 2.5 acres or 10,000m2 / 107,000ft2 for the entire system including storage, gen-sets, interconnect, etc.
