How much soy can be added in a weaning mix?
Commercial weaning preparations contain about 20- 30 % soy protein isolate. The recipe varies depending on the maker. Soy protein isolate is the best for use in weaning mixes compared to flour. If at all flour has to be used then defatted soy flour is better than full fat flour because fat may cause rancidity and the shelf life is reduced.These are a few questions we have compiled.
