How much sound do Screenflex Room Dividers absorb?
Sound is absorbed by surfaces such as a Screenflex panel which in part is made of two layers of fiberglass matt which helps absorb sound. Please see the “Acoustical Fire Rated Panels” picture in our manufacturer’s comparison sheet. While the techy “Noise Reduction Coeficient” data is attached, what is also important to remember is when several classes/meetings are being held simultaneously in a large area, all the activity going on in the rooms simply becomes background noise. Audiologists call this “white noise” because while it is there, like the color white it is not very noticeable.
