How much solvent is used during an extraction process?

0

Horizon Technologys Automated Extractors use approximately 1/3 less solvent than with conventional LLE (liquid-liquid extractions). For a typical method, using a 47 mm disk, the total amount of solvent would be approximately 10 – 20 mLs for Prewetting and 15 – 20 mLs for final Rinsing. A typical method using a 90 mm disk will use about twice that volume.
