HOW MUCH SIN IS FORGIVEN AT THE CROSS OF CHRIST?
There is one event in the history of mankind that is pivotal to determining the destiny of mankind, that event is THE CROSS (AND RESURRECTION). When we speak of the cross of Christ we cannot do so without mentioning the resurrection of Christ. The resurrection of Christ is the evidence that the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ (Isaiah 53:4-6; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21) was an acceptable payment for the sin of the world and that the power of sin, (which is death) has been broken (1 Corinthians 15). The Bible tells us that the cross work of Christ was sufficient to pay the penalty and debt that sin had accrued over time FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD! That is the good news! The cross of Christ and Jesus sacrifice paid for the sins of the world.
