You can also find out from home improvement stores about the cost of windows and then save on labor charges by installing them yourself if you’re comfortable working with tools.
Most Vinyl windows from places like Home Depot or Lowes will range from 150.00 to 265.00 for an average size window. Installation can be 150.00 to 275.00 extra. They also charge a trip charge. If the average size window in your home was four feet by feet (Which is average) , Than with the install cost you’re looking at 400.00 to over 500.00. Larger windows and shaped windows cost more. If your able to install them yourself than this might be the way to go if you’re not looking for above average windows. Vinyl windows from the big chains will range from 525.00 and 850.00 installed. Most, if not all will want to install them. Non installation is not an option. Your smaller show rooms and independent guys will be 400.00 to 625.00 installed.
