Hi, basically it can take a few weeks to go down hun, it depends on the individual. Some take lot longer than others. In terms of your diet you want to be eating small ammounts fairly regularly, and try to do as much as you can without overdoing it. I know you feel exhausted but this wont last for long. 900 Calories is a tad on the low side, but since you are not doing too much activity you should be okay with it. Try taking a little more gradually though. Like I said, for a healthy diet, you need to be eating small meals regularly. 4 or even 5 times a day. Each meal (apart from breakfast which should preferably be fibre rich), should contain a balanced ammount of carbohydrates, (which will give you the energy you need) (from potatoes, rice and pasta, etc) protien, (from fish, chicken, occassional red meat, soya) and plenty of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants (simple fresh fruit and veg).
