Good plumbers give free quotes and state a fixed price, so nothing. Call him off, put it down to experience and ring up someone else and ask for a free quote. There are good plumbers needing the work that will give you service you are happy with This guy sounds like a total cowboy – DO NOT pay him any more money!!!!! Our boiler was serviced in January and cost £75 with NO call out fee – just a one off payment paid ON COMPLETION of the job.
