How much sand would i need to lay about 300 concrete blocks?
you get roughly 40 block per bag of mortar…thats about 8 batches of mud…18 shovels of sand to a bag of type S mortar…there are roughly 125 – 150 shovels of sand to a ton , so it will be close…for the record you mix by volume not weight…hey boy-boy ever heard of wet sand and dry sand…big difference in weight , none in volume…
