Actually.. when I studied nutrition, I was TAUGHT that there is NO RECOMMENDED DAILY AMONT for SALT… because, just about EVERYTHING YOU EAT has SALT IN IT.. so you DON’T NEED any salt SUPPLEMENT.. so QUIT WORRYING ABOUT IT. And whatever you do.. DON’T ADD SALT just to get up to what YOU think is needed… you only add salt to make the food TASTE GOOD and FOR NO OTHER REASON.
