As of 2008, the County’s only sanitary landfill, Eastern Sanitary Landfill Solid Waste Management Facility is half full. The Bureau’s draft 10-year Solid Waste Management Plan estimates that the landfill will be at full capacity by the year 2039, based on the same input as in 2007.
