How much renewable energy is NS Power using?

0

Currently NS Power has approximately 275 MW of wind energy on the system, enough energy to power approximately 72,000 homes. The largest percentage of this energy is from wind turbines with a small amount coming from Biomass and Biogas. Most recently, NS Power has constructed two large wind farms; Digby which contributes 20 MW, and Nuttby Mountain which contributes 50.6 MW to the grid. These wind farms have been generating renewable energy since late 2010.
