The system is shipped with 48 Megabytes of memory. If the customer chooses to upgrade the memory, they can purchase and install standard SIMMs. The levels of upgrade are 88 Megabytes and 112 Megabytes. • What is the print time? The print time for a full size image is around 5 minutes. • What is the resolution? The printing resolution of the KODAK DCP 9000 is 300 dpi. • What about remote proofing–what do I need to make that happen? The KODAK DCP 9000, like most output devices, can be printed to remotely. While Kodak is investigating but does not currently have a recommended implementation, a customer would need to invest in a telecommunication link, communications software, a server with a modem and a sending workstation with a modem.
