How much prior experience do I need to take the full Electronic Music Production (EMP) class?
No prior experience is required to enroll in the EMP program, as we begin with the basics of music theory, song structure, audio recording, MIDI sequencing, and mixing.* Again, similar to the DJ Program, we encourage even experienced producers to enroll in the full music production package (EMP full Course package), as we will be providing instruction in the latest versions of the most cutting-edge technologies offered by Propellerheads (Reason 4) , Ableton (Live 7) , and Apple (Logic 8).
