How much preparation is done before coating with Revitalast Liquid Vinyl Siding?
Preparation is absolutely crucial. Each project involves different preparation steps depending on the type, age and condition of the surfaces. Molds and mildew are completely removed and surfaces are cleaned. Rotted or faulty wood is replaced and surfaces are routinely scraped, sanded and caulked. For metal surfaces, all rust or other oxidation is removed and sealed. Moisture levels in wood surfaces are checked and are within the specified range before coating. Only after the surface preparation is complete will a special bonding agent be applied prior to the application of the Liquid Vinyl Siding.
