The M7000A gyro requires 3kW (14 Amps) at 230 VAC 50/60 Hz during flywheel spin up. The power requirement drops to 1.5 kW (7 Amps) when the flywheel has reached operating speed. The M21000 gyro requires 3.5kW at 230 VAC 50/60 Hz during flywheel spin up. The power requirement drops to 1.5 kW when the flywheel has reached operating speed.
