How much power do ZVOX systems have?
The ZVOX Mini and 315 use an amplifier rated at 40 watts total, 20 to the subwoofer, and 20 to the three main speakers (10 per stereo channel). The ZVOX 325 amplifier is capable of 60 watts, 20 watts to the subwoofer, 20 watts the the middle speaker and 20 watts to the two outside speakers. But the power supply used with ZVOX systems limits their overall ouput to 23.5 watts. Because we acoustically contour the amplifiers signal to match the speakers used in the systems, and because they are relatively efficient, they will play quite loudly though certainly not as loud as a 600-watt home theater system.
