Well, this won’t be fun. If you are having the teeth out because of gum disease, it’ll be easier. If it’s because of decay, it’ll be a bit more difficult. You’ll find it hard to talk right at first. Everybody’s pain tolerence levels are differnt. The best pain control will come from combination meds (example, 800mg of advil every 8 hours AND 2 vicodins every 4 hours) That way, there are 3 different meds working on the pain. The day after the surgery, start rinsing with warm salt water. Stock up on yogurt and smoothie making stuff. Don’t drink thru a straw. Hang in there! You’ll get thru it!
