How much padding will be needed to pad my rollcage?

Sit in your car once the cage is installed and observe carefully any areas that any part of your body could come in contact with under an impact – pay special attention to head, shoulders, arms and legs. These sections of the cage should be properly padded. If there will be someone in the passenger seat, then make sure that side is also properly padded. We carry two types of padding – a high density SFI rated padding for greater absorption of energy in an impact, and standard padding. All padding is sold in 3-foot long sections, and you can cut it to fit the parts of your cage where it is needed.
