a. A very small portion – less than five percent – is spent on maintaining the fund and administering the program. There is a small expense associated with collecting the contributions, maintaining information in the participating businesses and administering the funds. The funds are managed by the Montana Community Foundation to ensure transparency and accountability for every dollar contributed to the program.
