How much of the fuel being burned in a bi-fuel generator will be NG?

0

The NG energy contribution varies from 0% to approximately 90%, depending on operating conditions. The engine will start on 100% diesel. NG is then added as engine operating temperature is reached and load is accepted. Under typical conditions, at least 80% of the fuel consumed will be NG for a majority of the genset power range.
