How much of the entire city of Hebron is accessible to Jews?
A. Jews are permitted only on the H-2, Israeli-controlled side of Hebron and today have access to only three percent of the city. Over 80% of Hebron was abandoned to the PA in 1997. Even within the H-2, Israeli (Jewish)-controlled side of Hebron, many areas are inaccessible, including the holy site, the tomb of Avner ben Ner, adjacent to Ma’arat HaMachpela.
