Carnegie Mellon utilizes endowment funds for a wide variety of purposes, including: scholarships/ financial aid, fellowships, academic programs, faculty positions, library acquisitions, and buildings and grounds. Virtually all of Carnegie Mellon’s endowment is targeted to improving the student’s educational experience.
