How Much of Political Ads is Truth?
You’ve probably seen the ads for governor over and over again, but what can you believe? Is there truth in these advertisements, and what’s fiction about the candidates for governor? WAFB’s capitol correspondent Caroline Moses sits down with our political analyst, Jim Engster, to find the answers. Engster says, “It’s very difficult to attack a guy who has only been in public office three years and who has a record not all that controversial.” However, the Louisiana Democratic Party has found a few ways to go after Republican Bobby Jindal. Engster says, “The real message is that Bobby Jindal is an insider rather than an outsider.
