How much of a time commitment is being a Washington Wizards Dancer?
There are 41 home games in addition to rehearsals twice a week. The Washington Wizards Dancers participate in numerous appearances a year. Each dancer should plan on making at least 10-15 appearances during her year. Being a Washington Wizards Dancer is a huge commitment. However, many of the past dancers have held demanding careers such as school teachers, sales directors and computer specialists. Some dancers are also under graduate and graduate college students. At the prep classes you will be able to meet several of the current dancers and ask them how they manage their time.
