How much money would I spend purchasing supplies for a Ball python?
A regular ball python shouldn’t cost more than $40 if you go to a breeder. If you go to a pet store they could cost up to $100 (maybe more). As far as supplies, you can just use news paper for the bedding (no need to shred it), that doesn’t cost much. A heat rock or pad cost about $20.A ten gallon tank to start (you will have to get a bigger one later)is about $20 to $30 with lid( make sure it locks, if not put something heavy on top, snakes are very good escape artists). A small dog bowl for water ,they’re not much. If you don’t keep the room warm enough(80 to 85 degrees) you need a heat lamp and bulb. I haven’t bought one so long I’m not sure how much they cost.But that’s all you need except for the food every 2 weeks. I really hope you enjoy your pet.
