How much money will Speech and Debate cost?
Registration: $35.00 (paid with registration forms) First Student: $50.00 Second Student: $40.00 Each additional student: 0 It also costs money to provide tournament attire such as suits and dresses. Expository speakers will need to purchase boards and an easel. Tournament fees vary but it is typically $30-$35 per person to compete in debate, $30 for your first two speech events, and $10 for each extra speech event. You can purchase food from the tournaments or bring your own. Most tournaments charge around $5 for lunches and $7 for dinners. Breakfast is generally not provided although sometimes there are snacks. You can look at the menu and choose what you want to buy.
