How much money will it cost me to make an Upholstered Wooden Cornice?
The fabric you use will fluctuate in price. For example, some of the lesser expensive prices might range from $6-12 per yard. We have also seen designer, imported or silk fabric cost as much as $200 or more. The cost of your fabric will depend on your taste for fabric. Discount fabric stores are going to be your best bet for savings on your selected fabric. Please note, however, that just because you spend more money on the fabric, doesn’t necessarily mean that your cornice will look better or more expensive. We have spent a minimal amount on fabric in the past and received “rave” reviews on a cornice that cost us “peanuts” to create! So, depending on the fabric used in combination with the size of your cornice, you could expect to spend anywhere from $40 for a 6’ wooden cornice, to $450 or more for a 7’ wooden cornice.
