How much money will be taken out of my paycheck after taxes?
If you have only made $138.15 by November, your total income for the year will be low enough that you will not have any income tax. Income tax is affected by marital status, but such as low income is not enough to be subject to income tax in either case (married or single). FICA taxes, social security and medicare are a fixed percentage (currently totaling 7.65%) up to a very high amount (approximately $80,000 per person) and are not affected by marital status. They are the same whether you are single or married.
