How much money should i take to mexico!!!?
When I go I take $100 USD per day (50 pounds). This assumes that the hotel has already been paid for. The money is used just for sightseeing and shopping excursions. I buy my pesos BEFORE I leave the U.S. You should also take a debit card if you need more. Make sure the debit card has a visa or mastercard logo on it. The ATMs dispense money in pesos. The current exchange rate is $11 pesos to $1 USD. Most places will take U.S. dollars and only a few will take Canadian money. You are not likely to get anyone to take British pounds.
