If the children are younger than 5, you charge $15 an hour. Between the ages of 6 to 12, you charge $10 an hour. For multiple children, add two dollars for each child. The more children, the more responsibility because it’s harder to keep your eye on more than one child. Let them know that you need to up how much you charge, point blank. Don’t be shy, be assertive.
