How much money should I bring with me to Costa Rica?

Well $500 seems to be a reasonable amount, I dont think you are planning on eating on very fancy places so i would say you are going to spend $40 max in food per day, that would be around $200 in food. Drinks are around $2-3 each, im not sure how much you drink so i cant give you an estimate here. And well souvenirs, it really depends on how much you are planning to buy but as an advice, never take the first price they give you, always try and bargain a little and you’ll see how you will save quite a bit of money. I’m pretty sure the $500 will do, but i would bring a debit/credit card with me just in case you are running low on money, you don’t want to find yourself with no money in a foreign country.
