How much money raised by World Vision goes to programs?
Last year more than 80% of the funds received by World Vision Canada went to programs that combat poverty and help children and communities in need. Famine 2009 funds will help support nutrition and food security programs in countries like Ethiopia, Nicaragua, North Korea and India. In addition to this, Famine will fund efforts to provide clean water, medical care, protection for children living in areas of conflict and education.
