How much money is it to be in private school?
Private high school can run anywhere from about $6000 a year to $30,000 a year in CA. The top schools are the most expensive, although top Catholic schools (usually all students are not Catholic) run a bit less than top non-Catholic schools. I think there are quite a few good private schools around Sacramento for about $10,000 a year. Alot, huh?! My son better take care of me in my old age! = ) BUT, many private schools, especially the top schools, have very generous need-based financial aid programs.
