How much money is available for the Urban Circulator Program?
FTA is making available $130 million in unallocated Discretionary New Starts/Small Starts Program funds, authorized by 49 USC ยง 5309 (as amended by Section 3011 of the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient, Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy For Users (SAFETEA-LU), Pub. L. 109-59, August 10, 2005). FTA may use additional Section 5309 Capital Investment discretionary funding that becomes available for allocation to further support this initiative.
