How much money goes into third world community development or for disaster relief in other countries?
United Ways in Canada raise funds within their local community for use in that community. On occasion, special fund-raising may be undertaken in response to major disasters in other parts of the world. In this regard, United Way-Centraide belongs to United Way International which has members from over 60 countries.
