How much money does someone with master in Health Care Administration?
After 20 years experience and an MHA, a person could potentially become the administrator or CEO of a hospital or health system, which could be $100,000 + in today`s dollars. We currently have people enrolled who have technical jobs, such as lab technologists, IT and Finance/patient accounts representatives, they all have 4 year degrees and entry level jobs. They are seeking the MHA to have a competitive advantage when promotions roll around and they want to go for the next higher level of job. So they`re taking a chance on getting the advanced training in management they MHA gives so they can move up the ladder. In order to get a job in healthcare around here, I advise people that they really need a technical skill, like nursing, or lab technology, or accounting, or many other direct patient care or support roles; then if they like it, they could pursue an advanced management degree like the MHA. The Twin Cities campus offers a full time 2 year MHA program, which includes rotations in
