How much money did Rodman Library patrons save by borrowing materials through SearchOhio that are not owned by the library?
A. SearchOhio began in late January 2009 and has been well received in our community. From its beginnings in late January through the end of 2009, 7,277 items have been borrowed for a total cost savings to our patrons of $254,695.00. These were requests to other Ohio public libraries for items that Rodman Library does not own. By using SearchOhio, borrowers did not have to purchase these items themselves.
