How much money can the airport generate?
According to the City of Oceanside, the airport has the potential of generating 1.5 million dollars (annually) from hangar and tie-down rentals alone. That does not include sales tax and personal property tax revenues that go directly into the General Fund. The restaurant, a possible museum and additional businesses will dramatically increase revenue to the General Fund.
