When you cross the border, they’ll ask you if you are carrying more than $10,000 CAD in CASH (lol I hope that kind of money would be invested somewhere), so as long as it isn’t more than that, you’ll be fine. I recommend you talk to your bank in your native country about how you can invest or transfer your funds to protect them. You shouldn’t have a problem though.
