How much monetary assistance is available under the Disaster Financial Assistance Program?
There is a $1,000 deductible taken off the total claim with 80% of the balance payable to the claimant. The maximum amount payable per claim is $300,000 for homes, businesses, farms and charitable organizations. A claim may be submitted for more than one category. Claims may not exceed the cost of restoring items and property to their immediate pre-disaster condition.
