How much memory do you need on a Mac to run Logic Pro effectively?

Apple says that the minimum requirement for Logic Pro 9 is 2 GBs, however from personal experience, the minimum requirement is usually on the lower end of performing. Another thing to note is that Logic Pro runs entirely in your computers RAM, (thats why Apple also advises that you save your project frequently because if it crashes you can be in big trouble), so 4GBs should be fine, but if your running Snow Leopard/Working on some pretty big Logic sessions then you might want to think about upgrading your RAM. Also, I suggest you try to minimize the amount of applications you have running when using Logic (i.e. close down Microsoft Word, Safari, iMovie, etc.) since it can bog down Logics performance much more dramatically then it would with any other application.
