I don’t think you will see much difference between 3 GB or 4 GB RAM. The difference between 250 GB and 320 GB isn’t very large either. I think I’d still get the notebook for $650. It is unlikely that you’ll be able to upgrade RAM and hard drive for less than $100 at some point in the future, should you decide you need to do that.

Most operating systems are only 32 bit these days, which means that much more than 3 gigs aren’t even used. That said, if you decide to go with less, like 2 gb, that would be fine too. There’s no need at this point in the game to go above 3.
