This comes down to the kind of Hawaii solar power contract that was signed for the installation. If it was merely a installation contract, then a lot of work, over the course of several years, will be needed as solar panels need to repaired. If, on the other hand, a Solar PPA was the contract to provide Hawaii solar power, then no maintenance is required by the person who recieves power. All of this is taken care of by the provider of the installation.
