How much Magnesol do I need per wash?
Usually it is 0.5-1% by weight For example, if you have 1000 litres of biodiesel, the specific gravity of which is ±0.9, the total weight would be 900 kg. At 1% ratio, 900 kg would require 9kg of Magnesol powder. At 0.5% it would require 4.5 kg of powder. As we do not know the starting quality of your biodiesel we usually advise that you start at 1%, with the view to reduce this to 0.5% when you are comfortable with your upstream procedures. However, you may even be able to get away using 0.25% ratio if your starting quality is good.
