How much longer will my home furnishings last with ClimaGuard SPF glass compared to clear or low-E glass?
• Many factors contribute to fade resistance, such as the color and materials of your home furnishings; the frequency, duration and intensity of UV exposure; variations in temperature and humidity in the home; and the way home furnishings are used and maintained. To come up with a better answer to this question than ‘it depends’, we had an independent laboratory follow the colorfastness test procedures used by the textile industry. These test results indicate that ClimaGuard SPF will delay the visual evidence of fading of typical home furnishings by up to four times versus low-E glass and up to six times versus clear glass.
